Fanciacorta and Lago d'Iseo
A hidden gem at the foot of the Alps. In the middle between Verona and Milan, this area has been left in peace by mass tourism, which annually occupies Lake Garda and Lake Como. This is an area that has the most. The classic lake, the small towns that lie in a row along the water. Beautiful landscape that alternates between flat and hilly in the south to mountains and valleys in the north. Lovely food and not least what Franciacorta is best known for, "Sparkling Wine". Italy's response to Champagne.
The area is a mecca for cycling, hiking and water sports. Here you can cycle along vines, visit vineyards and taste "bubble wine" one day, and walk in the mountains the next. Or how about a day on horseback, with a picnic among the vines? A boat trip on the lake with a stop on Monte Isola is a must. On this idyllic (car-free) island you can rent a bike and cycle around or climb the highest point of the island and enjoy a delicious lunch.
We stay in a cozy four star hotel with swimming pool and beautiful views of Lago d'Iseo. The lake is a hidden gem between the more famous Garda and Como. The area is best known for wine production of "sparkling wine". And we are not talking Prosecco, but the delicious Franciacorta wine. Italy's response to Champagne.

Fly bestiller den enkelte selv. Nærmeste flyplass er Bergamo (Orio Al Serio) Norwegian flyr direkte fra Oslo og Bergen. Ta gjerne kontakt om dere vil reise med samme fly som reiseleder. Dette vil vi legge ut når vi har nok påmeldte til turen. Kommer dere på ulike tider/steder kan vi organiserer transport til hotellet. Kjøretid: Bergamo (Orio Al Serio) - hotel 20 min. Suggestion program
Day 1
Arrival Italy. Check-in and a welcome sparkling drink at the bar. The afternoon is enjoyed by the pool. Classic Italian dinner in the evening in cozy Paratico.
Day 2
After a wonderful breakfast we get on our bikes and explore the Franciacorta wine region. At "Brelett" pace with our own guide, we cycle along vineyards on cozy car-free roads. We will visit 2 wineries, the first for a light wine tasting, the second for a tour of the wine cellar, with insight into the production of Franciacorta wine, wine tasting and not least enjoy a lovely lunch with wines. After such an experience, we are picked up by our bus and driven safely back to the hotel. The afternoon is enjoyed by the pool
The evening on its own.
Day 3
After breakfast, it's time to explore Lake Iseo. The boat takes us back and forth in cozy places before we end up on Monte Isola. Here we enjoy a few hours along the promenade, sipping a glass of wine with some cheese and ham. The lively can cycle around the island or get up and climb the highest point of the island, before the boat takes us back to the hotel. The afternoons are enjoyed by the pool or a trip to the Franciacorta Outlet. A "must" for the shopping happy. Joint closing dinner in the evening.

Breakfast and departure to the airport.

Dag 5
Bergamo
Frokost på hotellet.
Denne dagen skal vi utforske Bergamo, nærmere bestemt Bergamo alta, også kalt «città alta».
Bussen slipper oss av ved foten av bymuren og vi tar Funicularen opp til gamlebyen.
Den er omgitt av en ca. 5 km lang bymur. Her vil vi møte vår lokale guide som tar oss med på en tur for å vise og fortelle om de mest kjente plassene, blant annet Piazza Vecchia, domkirken, Cappella Colleoni, og Santa Maria Maggiore.
Gamlebyen har et utall små koselige butikker som selger deilige lokale delikatesser, mange koselige kafeer og restauranter så etter en guidet tur er det mulig å utforske byen på egenhånd.
Vi møtes så ved Funicularen og tar banen sammen ned hvor vår buss venter og tar oss tilbake til hotellet.
Siste kvelden vil vi ha en felles middag. Hvor vi sammen deler erfaringer og inntrykk, god mat og drikke.
